Claire Après From the exhibition A Woman at 40, curated exclusively for Black Flag Art. The series presents twenty AI photographs of women at midlife. That threshold where dreams and reality collide, where identity settles, shifts, and quietly asserts itself. Created through a blend of real encounters, personal experience, and imagination, these images occupy the space between the women we know and the women we sense. The AI becomes a collaborator in rendering what is felt but not always seen. Each portrait is intimate, touching and sometimes unsettling; a moving meditation on lived experience.
